As part of Brain Awareness week, students may enter short videos explaining neuroscience videos.  The winning entries can be viewed on the Society for Neuroscience website.  There is also a link to videos from previous years.

This website provides videos on famous medical scientists and their discoveries and includes biographies of many prominent neuroscientists and their research contributions.

The Society for Neuroscience has a YouTube channel with interviews of famous neuroscientists talking about their work and careers ).  The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies also has a YouTube channel with videos covering historical advances in the field of neuroscience ).

The National Institute on Drug Abuse has a YouTube channel with informative videos on drug-related research as well as interviews with addiction scientists.

The National Institute of Mental Health also provides Brain Basics, a series of videos that covers the basic structure and function of the brain, how mental illness affects the brain, and new research on mental health disorders.
