In honour of ‘National Science Month’, please join us for a series of interdisciplinary talks on the mammalian brain, from its structure, function and evolution 7-15 August 2018, Origins Centre Museum, University of the Witwatersrand. The symposium comprises cutting-edge research, not only in our species, but also in earlier hominins. It also includes talks on other mammalian species, ranging from the elephant to the gibbon, and “mammal-like reptiles” (therapsids), from which all mammals originated.
